Claire is Three Months

View this post on Instagram Claire is three months! She celebrated by sleeping through the night for the first time! 🎉😴💕 She is 13.8 lbs and 23.5.” She was in 0-3 months most of the month but just jumped to 6 month clothes. ⁣ ⁣ She’s sleeping in her crib for naps and just started […]

This month I dubbed Claire “the best baby ever.” She is so easy going. She really only cries when she needs something – a bottle, a nap, a diaper change. She is never short on attention. Bennett 100% thinks she is “his bébé.”

Monthly Questionnaire

Age: 3 months

Weight: 13.8 lbs

Length: 23.5″

Size: 0-3 months for most of the month but then jumped to 3-6 month

Eyes: blue

Hair: brunette

Sleeping: She typically sleeps from 7 pm until 4:30 am with a dream feed at 10:30 pm that Ingrid gives her. She sleeps in her crib with Jimmy in the bed in her room. She’ll eat at 4:30 am and then sleep until 6:30. She did sleep through the night once. She is no longer in her swaddle – she’s in the Magic Merlin Sleep Suit for naps and night. She takes almost every nap in her crib.

Eating: combo feeding from bottles. She’s about 60/40 breastmilk and formula. I’m still proud of this. She won’t nurse so it’s all bottles – pumped & formula

Milestones: She started babbling; slept through the night for the first time (11 hours straight! ((with a dream feed))

Memorable outings: not only is it flu season, but we’re still in a COVID-19 Stay Home order, so we’re going nowhere except daily neighborhood walks

Likes: eating, windows, baths, her brother, her mama

Dislikes: pacifiers, the wind, the sun,

Words/sounds: she started babbling

Nicknames: “Claire Bear,” “Sweet Thing,” “Claireaboo” “Baby Sister,” “Ginger Snap”

Interesting Facts: 50% growth cure is gone, she shot up

Funny moments: I wanted to take a cute photo of her asleep in my arms rocking her to sleep, did not realize the flash was on: needless to say, she was not happy. And yes, I rock her to sleep almost every night. Sorry, not sorry, we’ll work on sleeping later, but she’s my baby now.

Looking forward to: sleeping more; being able to leave the house
